Fifth Masters: Two wins and second place in the standings

24. February 2020

Our players are currently at bootcamp with their trainer Bronko, and their hard work seems to pay off. They left the fifth Hitpoint Masters with two wins, and thus strengthened their second place in the standings.

In the first game they opposed the Inside Games, both teams having 5-3 score. A big surprise came in the lobby when Dread picked Zed, champion not exactly popular in the competitive scene.

At first everything seemed in favor of IG, when Mafro shed the first blood with his Bard. But it wasn’t long before Sampi took the reins, and the match became kinda one-sided. By the end of the game, Sampi took all the dragons, Baron and 22 kills. The match ended in the 35th minute with more than ten thousand gold difference. Rufus got second MVP with his Nautilus and score 0/2/15.

In the second match, Sampi encountered Team Brute (3-6) and it was clear from the beginning who would dominate the map. In the fifth minute, Lipanek with Elise (3/0/11) shed the first blood, and his teammates were not behind at all. Rufus shined again, this time with Braum (0/0/10), and Dreedy with Camille (5/0/7) showed great performance as well.

In the fourteenth minute the team already got a nine thousand gold lead, the difference was growing and the number of killings by Sampi was incrasing. The match ended in the 27th minute with a score of 22-0, making it the first battle of the spring league, in which one team did not get a single kill.
