Sixth Masters: LoL team gets five game win streak

2. March 2020

Our players left the sixth week of Hitpoint Masters #13 with another two wins. They currently have five game win streak and are only one win away from the direct advance to the finals in Svitavy.

On the first map, team RAMS (4-8) waited for our players. Our boys measured strengths with them in the second week but left disappointed with a loss. This time, Sampi surprised everyone right away when Rufus unexpectedly picked Sett (1/3/5).

Everything looked in favor of Sampi at first, but RAMS did’t go down without a fight. We witnessed several relatively balanced fights, Mauss with Miss Fortune (7/2/4) being the biggest threat. After taking down the Baron, Sampi got into the enemy base and ended the game in the 39th minute. Dread with Syndra (6/1/4) made the biggest impression and won MVP for the game.

Probably no one expected any interesting moments from the second match, in which Sampi fought Vikingekrig (1-11), the last team in the standings. By the 17th minute, the game was one-sided and looked perfect for Sampi, but in the next clashes, Vikingekrig managed to get several kills, and their situation began to look promising. Especially Koudys with Xayah (6/6/3) performed very well.

At the battle for Baron, our players managed to strike back and after getting the buff, they ran into enemy’s base. After the last team battle, Sampi scored another win in the 33rd minute and Dreedy with Mordekaiser (6/2/3) got yet another MVP.

“We’ve played very well at the beginning of the match, getting a solid lead. Then came a weaker phase where we could not break the opponent’s defense,” explains the team’s coach, Bronko. “The match could have ended a few minutes earlier, but in the end, we’ve got two victories.”
