Today, Team Sampi part ways with Czech FIFA20 player Stepan “RIIJK” Sobocki. After a mutual agreement, we decided that it will be in the best interest of both parties to no longer continue in our cooperation. Althought RIIJK was a core player for domestic tournaments and arguably one of the very best Czech players, we will have more than adequate replacement very soon. Stay tuned for that!
RIIJK started his journey in Team Sampi in early spring 2019 and represented our colours really well. His first achievement was a victory in JRC FUT Offline Finals in Prague. In the same month, he finished 3rd at CZC.cz iSport Liga Offline Finals. Three months later, in July, he traveled to Munich, Germany to attend ISPO Digitize 2v2 with his former teammate Lukas “DiDa” Cerny. That event was a great international achievement as they went home with silver medals on their necks. In September, RIIJK added another TOP3 as he placed third in JRC FUT Czech National Championship. One month later, he added his last medal under the Team Sampi as he took second place at PlayStationCZ FORGAMES Cup.
Last weekend, RIIJK, qualified himself to play Datart eLiga under the best real-life football team from the Czech Republic – SK Slavia Praha. This was always his dream and we wish him the best of luck for the tournament and for his future gaming career. Thank you for great representation, Stepan!
